A collection of four graphite drawings describing the four states of matter: Solid, Liquid, Gas and Plasma.

The hands in the artworks invite the viewer to imagine an interactive experience with matter. But their interactions with each other explore the forces binding particles together. From the large forces holding together crystalline structures represented by the strong hold of two hand tights against each other arms to the weak interactions of gas molecules expressed in the disintegration of the fingers themself.

And while experiencing the forces that hold materials together, the viewers might think and question the connections in their life and the strength with which they hold other humans hands in their own lives.

Original artworks and prints are available for sale.
